November and December:
Final steps and achievements!

-------------- NOVEMBER
On November 1st, the
students of the 6th years rehearsed their songs for the shooting, which
occurred on the same day. Many groups surprised me, and gave us real show,
showing their talents and skills. Below, some photos and videos of this day's
recordings.
On day 2, the students
of the 3rd year, of the Teacher Eladir Skibinski Municipal School, made
photos of thanks to send to supporters and sponsors.
On day 3, I received
several photos of school events , the principal Nazaré separated from a list of
events that I have elaborated, which would be part, later, of our Timeline of
the school events.
On day 4, I received works
about the routine, from the American students. Brazilian students presented in
the form of music, and the Americans in the form of comics. On this day, I also
took the opportunity to make a montage with photos of the works about
professions, from the Americans, in two formats: all in one page, and each
student per page for best viewing. Then, these materials would make part of our
book about all the project. I also did an montage, and reduced by 4 pages of
all the photos we had of the American School, from the materials sent by the
teacher Rebekah Carter Flora.
On day 8, students of
the 6th years A and B, had a lecture about Jobs and ‘Vestibular’ of
Univille.
On day 8, I took
several photos of the spaces of the Municipal School Professor Eladir Skibinski,
that would compose the Yearbook, and to register and submit our routine for to
the American students.
During this period, I
asked support to the teachers, of the Computerized Room, from both schools, to
help me, giving students an opportunity for the students to answer the
questionnaire I have written in my blog about the American school.
On the 10th, I
received more photos of school structure, with the collaboration of Teacher
Marcia , responsible for the Computerized Room of the Nurse Hilda Anna Krisch Municipal
School.
On the 11th, I made
the photo of the finished works about professions, produced by the 6th years.
American students did the same activity: The name and a drawing that represents
the profession they wish to pursue in the future.
On day 11, I took
pictures of all the students that parents or guardians authorized to appear in
our Yearbook. I wanted to make sure and guarantee that no one would be left out!
On the 12th, I sent
back our address to teacher Rebekah. She said she wanted to send some presents
for me, about the American School.
On the 12th, we had
views of the blog in Germany and the United States.
On the 13th, I took
more pictures of the students of the 3rd year s of Nurse Hilda Anna Krisch
School, to ensure that I would not forget anyone! On this day, teacher Rebekah
sent a file with pictures and full names of American students, taht would be placed
in our Yearbook project.
On the 13th, we had
views of the blog in Germany and the United States.
On day 13, I
also did a montage of the American School. Look how beautiful is the sky in
Virginia!
On the 16th, I found
interesting the tip of the teacher Rebekah, from the video produced by them. They
use an online scientific calculator. Just write calculator, which appears on
Google. Americans use in their ipads, during mathematics lessons.
On days 16 and 17, I sent to the graphic designer more photos that would be part of our Yearbook.
In this period, the 6th years were finalizing their works about professions and
wrote the versions of the songs.
On day 20, were had 70
responses in the Questionnaire of the blog.
On day 21, we already had
the art of the Yearbook ready. The next step would be send it for the graphic
Tipotil of Timbó, to print our beautiful albums, in the format of folders.
The last classes of 25
and 29, the 6th years were arranging the last details: Delivery of outstanding activities
and rehearsals of the songs, which would be presented at the Talent Night.
On Thursday, the 26th,
I handed the Certificates to the best students of the year, at the Nurse Hilda
Anna Krisch School, in all the classes from 3rd to 5th year, totaling 21 students
standout.
On days 27 and 28, I did
the last photos of the students of the 3rd years, at Nurse Hilda Anna Krisch
School, holding the cards they produced, with the names of the American
students, to send for them.
On the 28th, at the
request of the director Nazareth, I made a ‘release’ to the press to attend and
prestige our event about the project. ‘Release’ is a kind of summary and event
invitation, explaining what, when, where would happen the end and culmination
of our project.
On day 28, all
students of Nurse Hilda Anna Krisch School received the invitations for the
event.
On the 29th, I gave a sheet with a model, and asked students to
produce a text/testimony about their involvement in the project. Among the
issues addressed were the importance of the English language, participation, the
works done, etc. I also gave a letter explaining everything, and a model for the parents, to write their testimonials
and make their comments.
On day 29, there were
159 responses in the Questionnaire of the blog, about the American school.
-------------- DECEMBER
On day 2, all students
of Teacher Eladir Skibinski School received the invitations with date, time and
place of the event about the documentary, and the Night of Talent of the 6th years
A and B.
On day 4, Wednesday,
the presentation of the first version of the documentary occurred in Nurse
Hilda Anna Krisch School, for students, parents and supporters of the 3rd years
A, B and C, in the school Auditorium. On this day, the Supervisor of English
Language of the Department of Education, Adriana Machado, came to honor the first
run.

On day 5, Thursday, it was the turn of grades 4th
and 5th A and B, parents and supporters, sanctioning the premiere.
On days 6 and 9, I delivered to all students and staff of Teacher Eladir
Skibinski School the Yearbooks (albums) of the project. Totaling approximately
300 albums delivered. On day 6, since it was the last day of school with
classes from 3rd to 5th year, Igave them gifts and certificates to the ‘Aluno
Nota 10’, and ‘Aluno Destaque’. On day 9 , as it was last class with the 6th
years, I also gave the Certificates to the best students. Gifts and
certificates were given to 27 standout students.
On 10th, in
the morning, I gave the folders for all students and staff of Nurse Hilda Anna
Krisch School, totaling approximately 250 albums delivered.
On 10th, I sent to
bind the books about the project. They have more than 500 pages of hard work,
dedication and knowledge. Inside the books are all materials used and produced
during the 4 months of the project, applied with all the 16 classes, totaling
452 students.
On day 10, to close, was
the opening night of the final version of the documentary, at Teacher Eladir
Skibinski School. The presentation took place at the school and at the end,
with the live participation of the students Thainá and Luciane, which gave a
real show, with their song, in the blues style.
And so ends our long,
arduous and laborious project. All the effort was worth it because the results
were awesome! Students, and compliments from colleagues, parents, friends,
family and supporters were wonderful!
-------------- PRESS RELEASE
On November 29th and
December 3rd, our project was disclosed on ‘TV Babitonga’.
On December 2nd, the
project was announced in AIESEC page (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=777803658902752&set=a.310607745622348.97140.293289864020803&type=3&theater) . The Exchange Program which the
Italian and German exchange students, Floriana and Özlem came to Brazil.
In the days 4th and
10th, our project was announced on the Facebook page of an International Fair
of Exchange and Education, Citizen of the World. The news about the event had
over 3000 views.
On December 17th, there
was a reporter about the project on the Municipal Government of Joinville
website.
On december 23th, the project was on 'Brunswick Boat Group - Brasil' Facebook page. The company that sponsored the albums of our project.
During this period, I
spoke with Goretti, from ‘Jornal da Educação’, and she is interested in doing,
for the start of next year, a special report about our project. Because she had
already closed 2013 edition, it was not possible to do it in december.
-------------- EXCHANGE OF MATERIALS

(BETWEEN TEACHER SORAYA AND TEACHER REBEKAH) --------------
On the 18th, I
received the 'mimos' from teacher Rebekah! Among the goodies were: 2 American
School shirts, with the words "Teacher Soraya”, and “Property of
Stanleytown Elementary School", accessories to hang badge, keys or others,
an ecological bag of the school, a cookbook, the Yearbook of 2012 ( since
students begin classes in the second semester, the Yearbook of the 5th year, that
we made the partnership, will only be ready in August 2014, since the school
year of them started in August of 2013) , a DVD with the video produced by them
in the form of television news, two folders of the school, and two pairs of
earrings made by an functionary of the American school.
On
January, I will send to Rebekah and her
students, some presents, too : 80 yearbooks, 1 Beach Bag "Brazil" (
in English, is written in Z) , 1 football shirt of Brazil, 1 shirt of the
uniform of Municipal Schools of Joinville, 4 comics ( Monica in Portuguese and
English, ‘Tio Patinhas’ and “Carrossel’) , 1 notebook of the “Ateliê de Arte em
Tecido / Fuxico’, of Teacher Eladir Skibinski School, candies, 1 decorative stocking
of Christmas, 2 cards, 10 stickers of the ‘Jovem Pan’ Radio, which plays songs from
American and British bands, 1 mini Santa Claus, one folder of an English School
of Joinville, and 3 reports that came out in the newspapers of Joinville: one
about the beginning of the project and partnership (On August, 27th) , and two
others about the schools Teacher Eladir Skibinski (October, 19th and
20th) , and Nurse Hilda Anna Krisch ( November, 2nd and 3rd).

-------------- SKYPE INTERVIEW --------------
The
culmination of the project took place on November 22, in the afternoon, when
students in the 6th grade B communicated via Skype with students of the 5th
year of the American school, asking questions to each other, in an interview on
general aspects such as preferences, routine, school, etc.. The main objective
was to introduce students to real learning context and need to speak and
communicate in English.

DE OUTUBRO – HALLOWEEN!!!
No dia 31/10, demos uma pausa no projeto e, na E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna
Krisch, fizemos desfile de fantasias e escolha do melhor traje, para
comemorarmos o Halloween em grande estilo! As turmas que participaram foram os
4ºs e 5ºs anos A e B.
NOVEMBRO
No dia 1º de Novembro, os alunos dos 6ºs anos ensaiaram suas músicas
para as filmagens, que ocorreram no mesmo dia. Muitas equipes me surpreenderam,
e deram um verdadeiro show, mostrando seus talentos e habilidades. Abaixo,
segue algumas fotos e vídeos deste dia de gravações.
No dia 2, os alunos do 3º ano A, da E.M. Profª Eladir Skibinski fizeram
fotos de agradecimentos, para enviarmos para os apoiadores, e empresas
patrocinadoras.
No dia 3, recebi diversas fotos de eventos da escola, que a Diretora
Nazaré separou a partir de uma lista de eventos que elaborei, que fariam parte,
posteriormente, de nossa "Timeline" (Linha do Tempo) dos eventos da
escola.
No dia 4, recebi trabalhos sobre rotina, dos alunos americanos. Os
alunos brasileiros apresentaram em forma de música, e os americanos em forma de
histórias em quadrinhos. Neste dia, também aproveitei para fazer uma montagem
com fotos dos trabalhos sobre profissões, dos americanos, em dois formatos:
todos em uma página, e cada aluno por página, para melhor visualização. Em
seguida, estes materiais fariam parte do nosso livro com tudo sobre o projeto.
Também fiz uma montagem, reduzida em 4 paginas, de todas as fotos que tínhamos
da escola americana, a partir dos materiais enviados pela professora Rebekah
Carter Flora.
No dia 8, os alunos dos 6s anos A e B, tiveram palestra sobre
Profissões e Vestibular, da Univille.
No dia 8, tirei várias fotos dos espaços da Escola Municipal Professora Eladir Skibinski, que iriam compor o
Yearbook, e para fazer o registro e apresentar nossa rotina aos alunos
americanos.
Neste período, pedi apoio aos professores de sala, e da Sala
Informatizada, de ambas as escolas, para que me ajudassem, dando oportunidade
aos alunos de responderam ao Questionário que elaborei no meu blog, sobre a
escola americana.
No dia 10, recebi mais fotos da estrutura da escola, com a colaboração
da professora Márcia, da Sala Informatizada da Escola Municipal Enfermeira Hilda
Anna Krisch.
No dia 11, fiz as fotos dos trabalhos prontos sobre as profissões,
produzidos pelos 6ºs anos. Os alunos americanos fizeram a mesma atividade: O
nome e um desenho, que representa a profissão que eles desejam seguir no
futuro. (Pegar email com listas)
No dia 11, tirei fotos de todos os alunos que os pais ou responsáveis
autorizaram aparecer no nosso Yearbook (Anuário Fotográfico). Quis me
certificar e garantir que ninguém ficaria de fora!
No dia 12, enviei nosso endereço novamente para a teacher Rebekah. Ela
disse que queria enviar umas lembranças para mim, da escola americana.
No dia 12, tivemos visualizações do blog na Alemanha e nos Estados
Unidos.
No dia 13, tirei mais fotos dos alunos dos 3ºs anos da E.M. Enfermeira
Hilda Anna Krisch, para garantir que não esqueceria de ninguém! Neste dia, a
professora Rebekah enviou um arquivo com as fotos e os nomes completos dos
alunos americanos, que seriam colocados no nosso Yearbook do projeto.
No dia 13, tivemos visualizações do blog na Alemanha e nos Estados
Unidos.
No dia 13, também fiz uma montagem com imagem do prédio da escola
americana. Observem que lindo o céu da Virgínia!
No dia 16, achei interessante, a partir do vídeo produzido pelos
americanos, a dica da professora Rebekah. Ela utiliza uma calculadora
científica online. Basta escrever calculator, que aparece no Google. Os
americanos a utilizam em seus ipads, durante as aulas de matemática.
Nos dias 16 e 17, enviei para o designer gráfico, mais fotos que fariam
parte do nosso Yearbook. Neste período, os 6ºs anos estavam finalizando seus
trabalhos das profissões e versão escrita das músicas.
No dia 20, já tínham 70 respostas no Questionário do blog.
No dia 21, (?) já tínham a arte pronta do Yearbook. O próximo passo
seria o envio da arte para a gráfica Tipotil, de Timbó, poder imprimir nossos
belos álbuns, no formato de folders.
As últimas aulas, dos dias 25 e 29, foram para os 6ºs anos ajeitarem os
últimos detalhes: Entrega de atividades pendentes e ensaios das músicas, que
seriam apresentadas na Noite de Talentos.
Na quinta, dia 26, entreguei os Certificados para os melhores do ano,
da E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna Krisch, nas turmas do 3º ao 5º ano, totalizando 21
alunos-destaque.
No dias 27 e 28, fiz últimas fotos dos alunos dos 3ºs anos, da E.M.
Enfª Hilda Anna Krisch, segurando os postais que produziram, com nomes dos
alunos americanos, para enviar para eles.
No dia 28, a pedido da diretora Nazaré, fiz release para a imprensa
poder comparecer e prestigiar nosso evento sobre o projeto. Release é uma
espécie de resumo e convite do evento, explicando o que, quando, onde
aconteceria o término e culminância de nosso projeto.
No dia 28, todos os alunos da E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna Krisch receberam
convites do evento.
No dia 29, entreguei folha com modelo, e pedi que os alunos produzissem
um texto/depoimento sobre sua participação no projeto. Dentre os aspectos
abordados estavam a importância da Língua Inglesa, do projeto, a participação,
trabalhos realizados, etc. Também entreguei um modelo para os pais escreverem
seus depoimentos e fazerem suas observações.
No dia 29, eram 159 respostas no Questionário do blog, sobre a escola
americana.
DEZEMBRO
No dia 2, todos os alunos da E.M. Profª Eladir Skibinski receberam
convite com data, hora e local do evento de estreia do documentário, e da Noite
de Talentos dos 6ºs anos A e B.
No dia 4, quarta-feira, a apresentação da primeira versão do
documentário ocorreu na E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna Krisch, para os alunos, pais e
apoiadores dos 3ºs anos A, B e C, no auditório da escola. Neste dia, a
Supervisora de Língua Inglesa da Secretaria da Educação, Adriana Machado,
compareceu para prestigiar a grande estreia.
No dia 5, quinta-feira, foi a vez dos 4ºs e 5ºs anos A e B, pais e
apoiadores, prestigiarem a estreia.
Nos dias 6 e 9, entreguei para todos os alunos e funcionários da E.M.
Profª Eladir Skibinski os Yearbooks (álbuns) do projeto. Num total de
aproximadamente 300 álbuns entregues. No dia 6, já que era o último dia de aula
com as turmas do 3º ao 5º ano, entreguei os brindes e certificados dos melhores
do ano, do meu Projeto Aluno Destaque e Aluno Nota 10. No dia 9, já que era
última aula com 6ºs anos, também entreguei os certificados para os melhores.
Foram entregues brindes e certificados para 27 alunos-destaque.
No dia 10, pela manhã, entreguei os folders para todos os alunos e
funcionários da E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna Krisch, totalizando aproximadamente 250
álbuns entregues.
No dia 10, mandei encadernar os livros do projeto. Eles somam mais de
500 páginas de muito trabalho, dedicação e conhecimentos. Nele, estão todos os
materiais utilizados e produzidos durante os 4 meses de projeto, aplicado com
todas as 16 turmas, num total de 452 alunos.
No dia 10, para fechar, foi a noite de estreia da versão final do documentário,
na E.M. Profª Eladir Skibinski. A apresentação ocorreu na quadra da escola e,
ao final, contou com a participação ao vivo das alunas Thainá e Luciane, que
deram um verdadeiro show, com sua música, estilo blues.
E assim termina nosso longo, árduo e trabalhoso projeto. Todo o esforço
valeu a pena, pois os resultados foram incríveis! Os alunos, e elogios de
colegas, pais, amigos, família e apoiadores foram maravilhosos!
DIVULGAÇÃO
NA IMPRENSA
No dia 29 de novembro, e 3 de dezembro, nosso projeto foi divulgado na
TV Babitonga.
No dia 2 de dezembro, o projeto foi divulgado na página da AIESEC Intercâmbio,
programa pela qual as intercambistas italiana e alemã, Floriana e Özlem, vieram
ao Brasil.
Nos dias 6 e 10 de dezembro, nosso projeto foi divulgado na página do
Facebook da Feira de Intercâmbio e Educação Internacional, Cidadão do Mundo. A
notícia com a divulgação do evento teve mais de 3 mil visualizações.
No dia 17 de dezembro, saiu uma reportagem no site da prefeitura, sobre
o projeto.
Neste período, conversei com Goretti, do Jornal da Educação, e ela tem
interesse em fazer, para o começo do ano que vem, uma reportagem especial sobre
nosso projeto. Pelo fato de ela já ter fechado a edição deste ano, não foi
possível fazer este mês.
O projeto também foi divulgado na página do Facebook da Brunskwich Boat
Group, a empresa patrocinadora do nosso projeto, no dia 23 de dezembro.
TROCA
DE MATERIAIS PELOS CORREIOS (ENTRE PROFESSORA SORAYA E PROFESSORA REBEKAH)
No dia 18, recebi os ‘mimos’ da professora Rebekah! Dentre os mimos
estavam: 2 camisetas da escola americana, com o dizer “Property of Stanleytown
Elementary School” (Propriedade da Escola Primária Stanleytown), acessórios
para pendurar crachá, chaves ou outros, uma bolsa ecológica da escola, um livro
de receitas, o Yearbook de 2012 da escola (já que os alunos iniciam as aulas no
segundo semestre, o Yearbook da turma do 5º ano, que fizemos a parceria, só
ficará pronto em Agosto de 2014, já que o ano letivo deles iniciou em Agosto de
2013), um DVD com o vídeo produzido por eles, na forma de telejornal, duas
pastas da escola, e dois pares de brincos produzidos por uma funcionária da
escola americana.
No dia 19, enviei para a professora, alguns mimos também: 80 yearbooks,
1 bolsa de praia do “Brazil” (em inglês, se escreve com Z), 1 camisa de futebol
do Brasil, 1 camisa de uniforme das escolas municipais de Joinville, 4 gibis
(Turma da Mônica em português e inglês, Tio Patinhas e Carrossel), 1 caderno do
projeto de Fuxico e Arte em Tecido, da E.M. Profª Eladir Skibinski, balas, 1
meia natalina decorativa, 2 cartões, 10 adesivos da Rádio Jovem Pan, que toca
músicas de sucesso, de bandas americanas e inglesas, 1 mini papai noel, 1 pasta
de uma escola de idiomas de Joinville, e 3 reportagens que saíram nos jornais
de Joinville: 1 sobre o início do projeto e parceria (27/08/13), e outras duas
sobre as escolas E.M. Profª Eladir Skibinski (19 e 20 de Outubro), e E.M. Enfª Hilda Anna
Krisch ( 2 e 3 de Novembro).
